The newest book published by Terry is The Gypsy Morph, Book Three of Genesis of Shannara. It was released on August 26, 2008 in the United States and a week later in the UK.

Terry has just finished writing a new Landover novel, which will be published in 2009. Then he tentatively plans to write a Genesis of Shannara duology and then a new Shannara trilogy to take place after the events of Straken—or maybe even an entirely new series!
