That wasn’t all he talked about though. He talked about the Shannara TV show that is coming to MTV next year! The show was green lit almost two weeks ago, the massive cable network ordering 10 episodes that will adapt the bestselling novel The Elfstones of Shannara.
This is an exciting time for Terry and MTV. He is helping to oversee a faithful adaptation of the book. Thus far, the creators on the show have done a wonderful job. As Terry says in the video, he has read several scripts by executive producers and screenwriters Al Gough & Miles Millar and it is exactly how he would have done it.
Terry also reads from next year’s Shannara book, The Darkling Child, as well as answers questions from the audience.

Actually, Robert Jordan did write the ending for the Wheel of Time and it was included verbatim in the final novel, just a heads up! Cheers Terry, your the best!
Semantics aside, it was Brandon that completed the vast majority of those last three books. 😉
