The Shannara Chronicles premieres January 5th at 10/9c on MTV!

But if you can make your way to Washington State or live nearby, you can watch it early!

In partnership with MTV and Sonar Entertainment, the EMP Museum in Seattle is screening the first two episodes of the forthcoming epic TV series. And not in some rare, one-day event. No. That would be boring.

The episodes will be shown twice daily from December 21st through December 31st!

  1. Bummer. Wish I could be there–I live in New England.

Is the first season going to follow the whole book of Elfstones? Or will it move to a second season (fingers crossed!)?

  2. The shale cracks beneath your feet as the wisps of fog tendrils rising from the lake begin to swirl and take the form of Vale Shade.

Holy Cow! I wish I still lived in Bellevue. But, I’m in Idaho now and it would be a 7 hour drive or cost me $500 for the round trip tickets and flag me for added security searches this close to boarding time. So, I’ll just have to watch it on TV like most everyone else. But, I’m sure I’ll be buying the Blue Ray series when it comes out so I can watch the entire 10 episodes back-to-back.
