The Sorcerer’s Daughter Is Now Published!

The Sorcerer’s Daughter by Terry Brooks is in fine US bookstores today!

As a long-time Shannara fan with a lot of opinions on the subject, this third and final book in the Defenders of Shannara series is one of Terry’s best books. For many reasons.

The power of the prose. The arcs and relationships of the characters. The danger that is present. The magic that is used. The Sleath. And how Terry has stretched the boundaries of his own world to incorporate elements not seen in the series before.

I’m not the only one who believes that. A Dribble of Ink‘s Aidan Moher wrote something similar on the Barnes & Noble Sci-Fi/Fantasy blog. Like many of us, Aidan is a long-time Shannara junky but he’s been critical of the books as of late. Not for The Sorcerer’s Daughter. He loved it and you can read his review HERE.

Terry is also touring for The Sorcerer’s Daughter. You can view the event details HERE.

I highly recommend the new book. It is in US/Canada stores today, UK/Australia stores on Thursday. It brings a fitting end to Paxon Leah’s tale as only Terry could tell it.
