Shannara Con Ticket Purchases End Tomorrow

Hi Shannara Readers,

Shannara Con is less than a month away on October 23rd. The virtual event will celebrate the publication of The Last Druid and the end of the Shannara series. We have some surprises lined up — even things Terry doesn’t know about — and it should be a fun time.

That said, so we can prepare for the virtual event and know how many Welcome Kits and signed books we need, tickets go off sale tomorrow. In short, if you haven’t purchased a ticket to the event but want to go, now is the time to purchase said ticket! You can get a ticket that is just the Welcome Kit (with Honorary Druid coin, Retrospective booklet, bookmark) or a ticket that is the Welcome Kit with a signed copy of The Last Druid!

To choose your ticket, click HERE! Here is the Retrospective:

In other news, also ending tomorrow, the Kickstarter for my SF&F novel The Tempered Steel of Antiquity Grey. To read excerpts and/or see what is offered in the Kickstarter, click HERE. What did Terry think of the book? Here is his blurb:

“Speakman is a writer on the rise and Antiquity Grey is his best creation yet. Do yourself a favor. Read this book. It is terrific.” —Terry Brooks

More news soon. Stay tuned!

Your WebDruid,
Shawn Speakman

  1. Don’t get me wrong, I really want to attend this event, however I don’t want to have to pay for something I don’t want. Don’t want a bookmark or coin, don’t need a signed book, but I want to see the event.

Can’t you come up with a cost for just the event?

    • Space is limited to 3000 people in the virtual event, hence the reason we can’t open it up to everyone. We offered 100 free tickets that went pretty quickly. The good news? You can watch the event a week later when we post the video here on Terry’s site. So be watching for that!

  2. Shawn, I just sent you an email. I missed the notice about ticket sales ending. I was wondering if it might be possible to somehow still get a $43 ticket package?

For those people (like me) who got super busy and didn’t realize there was a deadline to purchase tickets…is there an alternate method to get tickets late?
I’d love to attend if it’s still possible to get involved.
