Dear BrooksReaders,

It’s that time. Sort of. Today was the original release date for Child of Light. The book became delayed due to a shortage of nationwide truck drivers that could deliver books to all stores on time.

The events in support of the book are happening no matter what! That means today, Terry will be taking part in two different virtual events. Here are the details:

  • Virtual Facebook Live Reading: 1PM PT on Terry’s Facebook Page
  • Virtual Zoom Event: 6PM PT with University Book Store

Terry will start the day reading from Child of Light. Those of you who attend his physical events know he loves reading in from a crowd. He’ll be reading for about 1/2 hour today and then taking questions afterward.

For the University Book Store event, Terry and I will be in conversation. During the event, I’ll likely try to steal some of your questions from the Zoom chat to ask him. To attend this one, you must register as soon as possible. No purchase necessary though supporting that bookstore would be great, either a copy of Child of Light or any other book they have on hand. Click HERE for that registration link.

Finally, I have a pretty bad head cold. No, not COVID. I may appear a bit wilted and I’ll be drinking a lot of water during these events to keep up with Terry.

See you in about an hour and maybe later today!

Shawn Speakman
